A special message from Athletics Director Peter Pilling:

Dear Columbia Alumni and Friends, 

I was privileged to attend Bill Campbell's funeral last week; it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I feel more proud than ever to have known Bill, and to be part of one of the things that mattered most to him: Columbia Athletics. Bill's family has encouraged us to continue with the event at the Old Pro on May 12. They think, and I agree, it's what Bill would have wanted.

So please do join me, and head coaches Al Bagnoli, Jim Engles, and Megan Griffith '07CC for fellowship with Columbia alumni and friends, in honor of Bill.

Bill Campbell '62CC invites you to the Old Pro to extend a warm Columbia Welcome to Athletics Director Peter Pilling and three special guests: Al Bagnoli, Patricia and Shepard Alexander Head Coach of Football, and our two newest head coaches, Jim Engles, Men's Basketball, and Megan Griffith '07CC, Women's Basketball.  

A former assistant for Columbia in the mid-2000s, Jim returns to Columbia after spending the last eight seasons as Head Coach at NJIT.  As a student-athlete, Megan was a two-time All-Ivy League Honoree and a three-year captain for the Lions. She was most recently with Ivy League-rival Princeton.  Al is entering his second year at the helm of Columbia Football. 

Mix and mingle over burgers and beer after we hear from a few of our tremendous Columbia Athletics coaches!
