Ilia Topuria and Josh Emmett are set to square off in a UFC Fight Night main event tonight, as each featherweight looks to make a statement at the other’s expense.

The UFC is treating North American fans to an early card placed in its favorite Floridian locale of Jacksonville, Florida. The Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena be the venue for 13 fights including several of ranked significance in a show that is better than your average Fight Night.

Emmett is coming off his first loss since 2018, coming up short against Yair Rodriguez for the interim featherweight title just over four months ago. The 38-year-old is looking to get back on track in a hurry, looking to be the first to hang an “O” on the undefeated brickhouse that is Topuria.

Emmett (18-3) had his five-fight win-streak snapped by interim UFC featherweight champion Yair Rodriguez by way of second-round submission in February. Prior to that loss, he soared up the featherweight rankings, with wins over Calvin Kattar and Dan Ige. Now, the 38-year-old gets an opportunity to redeem his loss and keep the momentum going.
